Promote Healthy Environments
With Air Purification Systems In The Home Or Office

Air purification systems help to maintain healthy indoor air environments. To forgo these kinds of systems leaves you prone to the many symptoms associated with indoor pollution. Indoor pollution factors addressed by your home air purification systems include symptoms associated with eye and skin irritation, lung irritation, and unpleasantness from offensive odors, nose and throat discomfort, and fatigue. In air purification studies the EPA suggests that the level of indoor pollutants may be 2-5 times higher than outdoor pollutant levels. Your home purifier is especially critical during the winter months, where indoor pollutant levels can reach 100 times that of outdoor levels when we effectively "seal" our houses even tighter from the elements. In terms of “lifestyle” it's important to consider home filtration systems, considering that on average most people spend up to 90% of their time indoors.

Air purification systems must effectively filter out the three main elements of indoor air pollution. The first element of indoor air pollution addressed by your room air purifier involves particulates, which are a mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets found in the air. Where 99% of particulate matter is invisible to the naked eye and can easily infiltrate the lungs, these microscopic particles are “captured” by your home air purifier. On average, every cubic foot of untreated indoor air contains 20 million particles. The second element of indoor air pollution is microbes, which include three major types of organisms: bacteria, protozoa, and fungi/mold. Most of these contaminants rely on a humid and moist environment for growth & survival. Some molds can produce certain chemicals, such as mycotoxins and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The final element of indoor air pollution is gases and odors. Indoor gases, such as benzene, formaldehyde, and hydrogen sulfide, are released from furniture, carpets, hair sprays, cleaning chemicals, insulation, and pesticides. Gases include VOCs, which evaporate into the air easily. Odors are often made up of VOCs or other gases. Your air cleaner filter system must be capable of removing all three elements of indoor air pollution and maintain a stable living air environment.

Whether system is for the workplace or the home, it is important to research all air filtration systems before moving forward in the purchase of an air cleaner filter system.
